Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage

New York's largest free outdoor performing arts festival, in its 40th year. Genres include salsa, jazz, hip-hop, indie, opera, dance, soul, Afrobeat, and world music. Programming includes the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival, Blacktronica (POC electronic festival at Marcus Garvey Park), and artist-curated evenings. Most shows are free; benefit concerts (Rilo Kiley, James Blunt, Jacob Collier type bookings) are ticketed via Live Nation. (2026 date not yet published; pattern: Early June – mid-September 2026; 40th anniversary season with 70+ shows across Central Park and 13 neighborhood parks in all five boroughs — verify with the source before planning.)
