What to expect

The Abbott Dash to the Finish 5K the day before the NYC Marathon — a citizen 5K ending at the same Central Park finish line as the marathon. Family-friendly, includes the NYRR 5th Avenue Mile earlier in the fall. A low-stakes way to participate in marathon weekend.
