What to expect
One of the world's six Marathon Majors. ~50,000 runners across 26.2 miles through all five boroughs. Key spectator spots: 4th Avenue in Brooklyn (mile 7–8), Bedford Ave in Williamsburg (mile 11), 1st Avenue in Manhattan (mile 16+), South Bronx (mile 20), 5th Avenue uptown-to-Central Park (mile 23+). The entire city turns out — genuinely one of NYC's best civic moments.
