Why are we all asking about dating here but not actually meeting?

Feels like one out of every five posts is about this, and a lot of them get deleted by mods anyway.</p> <p>So genuine question. Why not just meet in real life?</p> <p>Would people be interested in a casual NYC meetup focused on dating or just meeting new people? Nothing awkward or forced, just a relaxed setting where people can show up, talk, and see if there is a vibe. This city has millions of people but somehow everyone is still stuck on apps.</p> <p>I know there is an NYC meetup group, but it seems pretty dead.
