What to expect
The Firecracker Ceremony in Sara D. Roosevelt Park opens the day, and the parade works its way through Chinatown in the afternoon. 2027 is the Year of the Goat, with the parade landing on the Sunday after the new year. Free, extremely crowded, and the confetti is unavoidable.
