Little Italy
Mulberry Street’s tourist-and-red-sauce corridor, flanked by some of the city’s most interesting new dispensary openings.
Little Italy has shrunk to a few blocks of Mulberry Street, and the red-sauce-restaurant identity leans more tourist than resident at this point. The interesting story here is the ring around it, the NoLIta edges, the SoHo overlap, the Bowery corridor, where licensed dispensaries have been opening at a steady clip. A Little Italy evening tends to start with the neighborhood’s classic pull (a cannoli, a bowl of pasta on Mulberry) and widen out to the surrounding blocks where the cannabis scene is doing its work. 21+ only.
